This fund was intended to support the creation of responses to the Pandemic COVID19, calling on companies and organizations of São Toméan society to present solutions that could lessen the impact of the pandemic and improve the lives of Santomeans, especially those most affected by this whole situation. Together with these initiatives, job creation in the execution of these projects was also a stated objective and a determining factor in the evaluation and selection process.

The approved applications involved projects related to the manufacture, distribution and sale of masks, information and awareness of the population in the care to be taken with COVID19, production and sale of alcohol and hydroalcoholic gel, production and sale of antibacterial soap and soaps, production and distribution of gowns antibacterials, online shopping and home delivery services, implementation of a digital currency system and improvement of the physical conditions of reception and treatment of the elderly population.

This first round had the allocation of 400,000 USD allocated to companies and organizations according to the financing needs presented and subsequently negotiated with the technical team to better suit the project and use of the funds.
